Team Brood Velvet Shock Cap Mod (2)

Description

Team BROOD Velvet Shock Cap Mod. This optional accessory allows you to convert two Team BROOD Velvet shocks to use a rod end instead of the stock shock cap. When additional mounting space is needed or a longer overall extended length is needed these modified shock caps are an excellent option. Constructed from 6061 aluminum they provide a strong base and can be used with a variety of rod end lengths. These are compatible with all three Velvet shock lengths. 
Installation Instructions:

• Use Blue (Medium) Threadlock generously on the screws when installing them. Failure to apply Threadlock will result in a leaky shock. Use Team Brood Threadgrip Blue Gel (BRO-TBR-THREADGRIPGB) for the best bond. Allow 24 hours for the threadlock to cure fully before assembling shocks.  
• You must still use the cap O-ring when installing these. It’s recommended you install new cap O-rings (BRO-TBR-181ORINGS) when installing the cap mod. Using an old O-ring that had previously been used with the plastic part will likely provide a suboptimal seal and will probably leak.
