Kelly Pitts Verified Owner Friday, Jun 9 2023 (about 2 years ago) Team Associated RIVAL MT8 Factory Team Aluminum Steering Rack Good idea but bad design and execution from AE. Stock plastic steering rack has a notch cut out to allow full steering travel which they did not do on this aluminium steering rack. This oversight will cause you to loose steering travel. I added this clearance on mine by sanding down a half moon shape using the stock plastic one as a template. My steering works way better and I have equal side to side travel. This is hardly a upgrade when AE is expecting their buyers to modify steering rack. With the modification done it is much stronger then the stock plastic and almost a must have but beware of this issue. 2 customers found this review helpful.
