The Team Associated Reflex 14B Ongaro RTR 1/14 4WD Electric Buggy comes with the iconic paint scheme of two-time I.F.M.A.R. World Champion David Ongaro. David has made his mark in history by winning the worlds in 2018 at M.O.R.B.C and again in 2022 at RCRedovan joining Maurizio Monesi with two I.F.M.A.R. Worlds wins!
The Team Associated Reflex 14B comes out of the box assembled, with a Reedy Power brushless ESC, motor, high-torque digital steering servo, and 2.4GHz radio system. With all that power and a 4WD drivetrain, the buggy’s design allows you to harness that power and turn it into pure fun! Adjustable turnbuckles, caster blocks, and rear hubs make the Reflex Gamma 14B ready for any terrain you can throw at it. Additional features include three sealed differentials, aluminum steering rack, and lightweight aluminum center driveshaft. All you need to do is add batteries and you will have a big performance in a small-scale Ready-to-Run package!

Drove that truck really hard for about 8 months and the only thing that went was the servo. Differentials are plastic gears but they last awhile. Like all Associated products, the cars are fun to drive, easy to work on, and relatively inexpensive to repair (when compared to some other brands). The handling and response with the 14B really surprised me. It’s a blast to drive. However, and maybe I’m unlucky, but the D115F servo is a major weak point in this line. Unlike the MT, I have driven this car extremely carefully. No big jumps, no hard hits, Dual Rate set very conservatively. Car was running fine. Didn’t drive it for a bit, got sidetracked on finishing another kit. Went to give it a run and there was absolutely no response from the servo when I turned it on. Attempted to re bind the receiver and same issue-no steering response. Connected it to a servo tester and verified it was officially dead. I don’t usually get frustrated when components break, it’s part of the hobby. But when there is no root cause it is really frustrating. Haven’t been able to find a replacement/upgrade that will fit, so I had to order another one. Didn’t mean to write a wall of text. Recommend the car. Would be 5 stars if not for the janky servo.
