Clear Body

This chassis Kit includes both a torque tuned brushed motor and Hobbywing 1060 ESC. these components combine to deliver a performance enhanced on-road racing experience. Connector Information

Jon Brandon Verified Owner Friday, Jun 27 2025 (3 months ago) Tamiya TT-02 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK AMG 1/10 4WD Electric Touring Car Kit Inexpensive kit, but needs front lower arms replaced with aluminum ones, as depressing the suspension pops the passenger side hub carrier out of the lower A arm on my kit, which lowers the ride height on that corner, and I thought basically sucks. A $12 fix on Amazon, however.
I bought several upgrades I thought looked cool and useful (ball bearings and blue-anodized aluminum oil-filled shocks with 50wt oil were a must) while I was at it and have enjoyed the process of rebuilding with the new parts. I like to tinker, though and can’t leave well enough alone. lol
I was able, to my great surprise, to skillfully apply the stickers on the body, after painting it Tamiya “Bright Silver” as the instructions call for. It looks really good with the removable side mirrors and wing, and the stickers really help the wow factor, too. I am very pleased with the scale look. We’ll see how durable it is over time.
I bought a 7800KV motor, 30-tooth pinion, 68-tooth spur gear, and a 2S battery, and I hope the thing’s upgraded drive train will survive its maiden voyage while I wait for the screws I ordered to arrive that will allow me to attach this motor on the adjustable motor mount I got for it. If it doesn’t survive, I would understand, it is a $115.50 kit design and that is asking a lot. View all reviews
