Notably, the repositioned drive shaft contributes to better steering control and minimizes the impact of sudden shocks. The Boomerang inherits the revered Hotshot’s chassis and features a robust shaft-driven 4WD powertrain. Its three-piece bathtub chassis, consisting of a central frame and front and rear gearboxes, simplifies maintenance. The front incorporates a mono-shock oil damper with a stabilizer, while the rear features CVA long oil dampers. Additionally, the kit includes a polycarbonate chassis cover to safeguard against dirt and debris. Customize your Boomerang with an array of optional parts, such as the Item 53791 DF-02 Assembly Universal Shaft and Item 53926 DF-03 Aluminum Damper Set.

John Cain Wednesday, Jan 22 2025 (8 months ago) Tamiya Boomerang 2008 1/10 4WD Buggy Kit Awesome, brings back memories for sure. Tamiya changed the driveshafts the front ones are too long and cause some binding but a set of hotshot front shafts definitely help fix the problem but still not 100%, however it is drivable and you don’t really notice any front end chatter unless your at full steering lock. A set of shafts about 1 mm shorter than the hotshot shafts would probly be perfect.
