Reedy’s Zappers SG5 HV-LiPo batteries feature leading edge LiPo chemistry with advancements in cell manufacturing and battery construction that result in improvements in capacity, power output, internal resistance, and durability. Zappers SG5 HV-LiPo batteries feature a 3.8V/cell nominal voltage, which means that the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell. It is not a secret that more voltage equals more power, so there is no easier way to increase power and top speed than a higher charge voltage! Even when the typical 8.40-8.44V (4.2-4.22V/cell) charging limit is enforced, Zappers SG5 batteries shine thanks to their inherently flat discharge curve, which results in higher voltage deeper into the race. A high quality, durable hard case helps prevent damage, while embedded socket connectors keep power-robbing resistance to a minimum. Male ESC connectors, T-plug pigtail and balance cable are included!

I do this in hopes that they figure out what is going on with their latest Zapper SG5 batteries. Batteries in this price range need to be top quality
my friends and I have had fantastic results with Reedy Zapper batteries. They are sg2, sg3, and sg4 versions that are still going strong and giving amazing IR numbers ( some below 1.0 MgOhm/cell)
The three Reedy sg5 versions I have bought recently have not been stellar. This one had a bad cell right off the bat. I ran it a bit but the IR’s never came down to where I need them to be for spec TC racing (below 2MgOhms/cell)
Fortunately it was easy to work with AMian on this one.
