This is the REDS 1/8 Motor Fan Holder. Designed to mount to a 1/8 size motor this fan holder uses high quality CNC machined aluminum brackets to securely clamp to the motor. The mount can hold a 40mm motor fan for an incredible amount of cooling. Add both performance and style to your vehicle with this fan holder from REDS. Package includes two motor fan clamps and mounting hardware.

Matt Rogers Verified Owner Monday, Sep 9 2024 (about a year ago) REDS 1/8 Motor Fan Holder (Black) (2) (40mm) Got 2 sets of these to install on my Hobbywing 4268 (buggy) and 4274 (truggy) motors in my 1/8th scale race cars.I went with REDS as they’re a reputable manufacturer of some great RC engines, parts, etc.Apparently they’re slapping their name on the same cheap Chinese junk out of the same factories all the junk fan mounts on Amazon are made in. Try to tighten down the clamps and it’ll still rotate on the motors. Try loctite, sit for 24hrs to cure, and tightened em down to the point it felt like the bolt head would snap off…. They still don’t hold onto the motor securely.
Don’t be like me and waste your money on these.It’s definitely NOT AMain’s fault.It’s REDS for putting their name on cheap Chinesium “Aluminum” that’s more soft than a stick of butter in the Arizona sun!

Run them on all of my Tekno Truggies, and Tekin motors… Reds absolutely could’ve included another buttonhead rather than the set screw, but provided you are smarter than your part, you’ll have the sense to toss that dude in the trash, and use a proper buttonhead. I guess common sense just isn’t as common as it used to be, and people would rather leave one star, and cry about their lack of any mechanical ability what so ever lolz.. Buy with confidence, and use a spare buttonhead instead of the set screw. Strongest, and highest quality mount in the business. And you get TWO per package. View all reviews
