I was using SLW compound on a hard pack track with some loam and there’s sections of the tire that the knobs ripped off in a few places only after about 12 minutes of total run time. I would definitely recommend going a stage more firm because these compounds seem to be softer than what they’re advertised. Probably won’t buy these again. 1 customer found this review helpful. Josh F Friday, Jun 27 2025 (3 months ago) Raw Speed RC SuperMini Short Course Tires (2) (Soft – Long Wear) I had a set of these on my ET410, and at my local low traction dusty track, and they were great. Lasted all season and were really effective. So when I added an SCT410 2.0, my first thought was a set of Superminis. 1 short practice and 3 race heats later, every tire is missing strips of knobs. So, $48 of tires and the wheels are basically dead. Huge disappointment. They’re still actually grabbing pretty well, so there’s that. I should mention that I thought I had Long Wear, but these are just regular “SOFT”. Even so, they were just immediately destroyed in the conditions they were meant to succeed. scott lenig Verified Owner Monday, Sep 25 2023 (about 2 years ago) Raw Speed RC SuperMini Short Course Tires (2) (Super Soft – Long Wear) My go to tire for a dusty day race or a late night bite track on my 4wd SCT. SSLW will start ripping lugs off early if your track is any type of abrasive, but the grip is worth it. This tire never seems to go away until it’s completely bald. View all reviews
