Enhanced Chassis Design

The RMX 2.5 features an updated chassis engineered for improved rear traction and more precise control. This enhanced platform allows drivers to confidently slide through corners while maintaining smooth transitions. MST also integrated multiple adjustment points, giving enthusiasts the flexibility to fine-tune suspension geometry and steering response for various track conditions.

Versatile Powertrain Options

Designed with flexibility in mind, the RMX 2.5 includes two motor mounting positions—high or low center of gravity—allowing drivers to tailor the handling characteristics to their preference. The updated spur gear design makes it easy to convert the drivetrain from RMX to RRX configuration, adding another layer of customization. Combined with a durable steel CVD axle system and Hobbywing ESC, this drift car is ready for action.

Advanced Steering and Suspension Tuning

MST equipped the RMX 2.5 with an adjustable high-angle steering system that features multiple Ackermann settings for precise control. The front suspension offers a 10-step height-adjustable upper arm mount with additional side positions, while the rear suspension features 5-step and 4-step adjustments to fine-tune handling. Jake Joiner Verified Owner Thursday, Nov 21 2024 (10 months ago) MST RMX 2.5 1/10 2WD Brushless RTR Drift Car w/E92 Body (Light Blue) Honestly I am a bit disappointed. I have been told and possibly even have read that the cars are tested before shipping. I find it pretty hard to believe that considering reverse doesn’t work. I’ve figured out how to flip the controls so that they are reversed and the motor and transmission runs in the reverse direction just fine, it is strictly in the radio/receiver and I can’t get it to zero out in trim so that it will work. I was under the impression that it would drive in bother directions out of the box as soon as I hooked up a battery, but it doesn’t. Do you have a local affiliated shop near that I could take it to to get the radio/receiver looked at, and if defective, replaced? My rating will certainly change if the issue is fixed.

Wesley got back to me right away to help diagnose the potential issue. An upgraded part has been ordered for me free of charge and hope to receive it soon. I will conclude my review when the issue is resolved.
Soooo unfortunately the ESC that was sent to me has the wrong size connectors going to the motor so it’s NOT going to work either. This is not what I was hoping for in an RTR rc car. I’m NOT changing the leads to my motor, I do not think I should have to. At this point I have invested too much to just say take it back and give me my money back, not to mention the time. So here we are SEVERAL weeks since my initial purchase and box opening and it STILL does not perform like it should out of the box. What I would expect from a RTR. Car works good. Great quality but a RTR. If you’re advanced, build a car. View all reviews
