About the RMX 2.5

Enhanced Chassis Design

The RMX 2.5 features an updated chassis engineered for improved rear traction and more precise control. This enhanced platform allows drivers to confidently slide through corners while maintaining smooth transitions. MST also integrated multiple adjustment points, giving enthusiasts the flexibility to fine-tune suspension geometry and steering response for various track conditions.

Versatile Powertrain Options

Designed with flexibility in mind, the RMX 2.5 includes two motor mounting positions—high or low center of gravity—allowing drivers to tailor the handling characteristics to their preference. The updated spur gear design makes it easy to convert the drivetrain from RMX to RRX configuration, adding another layer of customization. Combined with a durable steel CVD axle system and Hobbywing ESC, this drift car is ready for action.

Advanced Steering and Suspension Tuning

MST equipped the RMX 2.5 with an adjustable high-angle steering system that features multiple Ackermann settings for precise control. The front suspension offers a 10-step height-adjustable upper arm mount with additional side positions, while the rear suspension features 5-step and 4-step adjustments to fine-tune handling. Oil-filled shocks and a realistic brake set complete the performance-driven setup.

Darryl Garcia Verified Owner Wednesday, Jul 12 2023 (about 2 years ago) MST RMX 2.5 1/10 2WD Brushless RTR Drift Car w/E30RB Body (Dark Blue) I was amazed on the response the MST 2.5 version did, it handle better than another drift vehicle that I had purchased and did not have spend enormous amount of money to fix any issues to perform the same capabilities of the MST.

Some bits are better off upgrading from the start, however out of the box I was incredibly happy with how it was setup. This is my first drift car and MST did a spectacular job the appointments are too many to list. I got it on the 6th dec and I have ran 22 5200 mah 2s batteries through it and not one problem I adjusted the gyro once and that’s it. The car is is so much fun and all it does is beg for more so yeah it’s one of the best RTR out there. GREAT for someone just getting into it, who isn’t quite sure if they want to invest a “ton”, yet.
I’d recommend investing in the MST magnetic mount kit for it for the 30 bucks extra.
Only thing I was truly “disappointed” with, was the lack of adjustable links.. I just ordered that kit (and it was HARD to find).
Also, beware, MST branded “upgrades” are CRAZY expensive and hard to find in stock!!
Anyway, bought mine from the store… 400+ tax, 30 for mounts, and 75 (eek) for a shorty 2s lipo. BUT, 2-3 hours later, I was drifting!
