    About the Baja Rey

    Chassis

Like the previous version, the foundation of the Baja Rey 2.0 remains its strong 3mm aluminum chassis plate with a 2.5mm upper deck. Whether you’re hitting the whoops, getting huge air, or just running wide open, the chassis keeps asking for more. From there, the platform now goes to the next level with updated front gearbox and rear axle designs, improved upper front arms and 4-link bars, an additional dampening shock, and more. Together, the changes mean more tuning ability, and even greater strength and durability in critical areas.

    Detailed Body

Losi worked with Method and Ford to make this Ford F-150 Raptor Baja Rey 2.0 capture the full-size truck’s aggressive styling with molded details that include the front grille, hood vent, fire extinguishers, driver helmets, interior, and more! The officially licensed BFGoodrich KR3 tires are mounted on officially licensed Method 101 wheels. And the dual spare tires are fully functional!

Trevor McDonald Tuesday, Dec 12 2023 (about a year ago) Losi Baja Rey 2.0 Ford F-150 Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (Method) Have had mine for a couple months now and am extremely happy with the purchase. Have ran only 2s packs through mine and I find that to be plenty fine for all around usage and less strain on the drivetrain. Truck is pretty durable on a few unexpected crashes I’ve had from some high speed desert driving. Looks great driving around and plenty fun if you’re looking for a scale trophy truck experience. 1 customer found this review helpful. andy rosenhauch Verified Owner Saturday, Oct 7 2023 (about a year ago) Losi Baja Rey 2.0 Ford F-150 Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (Method) amazing, super durable, fast, gorgeous, and the suspension is super plush, BUT mine was defective so the driveshaft kept popping out. amain customer support is an absolute treat though! thats why it gets 5 stars even with defect 1 customer found this review helpful. J Verified Owner Wednesday, Aug 27 2025 (5 weeks ago) Losi Baja Rey 2.0 Ford F-150 Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (Method) Unbelievably fast and agile able to handle larger jumps and handle high speed maneuvers. It’s definitely my favorite 1/10 truck to play with and is a blast. But I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone new to the hobby and you’ll need wide open dirt to really let it eat. Bodhi Hatem Parker Verified Owner Saturday, Apr 26 2025 (5 months ago) Losi Baja Rey 2.0 Ford F-150 Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (Method) This truck looks sooooo good. Pictures do not do it justice. For those debating between this and the udr this is the clear choice to me. I was hesitant at the price of the udr as well as the durability level. I have talked to those who own udrs and they say don’t buy one if you want to do any high speed or bashing. I bought this with the solo intent to scale drive. This happens until it didn’t.
This morning I went to a mountain bike race (NICA, for those who know, cheers) and was driving slowish. I was running the spectrum 3s. To and how wish the keep this car intact please run 2s. I regret the 3s and wish I went with 2s it is just to fast for its own good. I run 75% ( 3s) 99% of the time it is the perfect speed. “Anyhoo” I had found a decently sized gravel parking lot and was toying with the car, drifting, and raw speed. I had the bright idea to turn it to 100% and floor it from far away. Welp, it reach its top speed and hit a rock right after. Now the rock was not the problem it just put the car on 2 wheels. It had reached me at this point and I began to break only you can’t when you’re riding on the two side wheels. The codriver (Ahmed) did not see the perfectly shaped jump at the end of the parking lot. The truck hit it and fricking flow! It summersalted 5 ft in the air at 50mph and the slammed into a metal aftermarket bumper of a real f-150. The driver, Fred, sadly did not survive the crash. His plastic molded head popped off and his body was crushed. Ahmed was fine and looked like nothing happened while Fred lay down in fractured plastic. There was no damage to the body around the cab the only body damage was on the front fender that cracked beside the molded fender.
Recommendations: put duck tape on the inside of the body above the wheels, they rub in a bottom out. Also apparently the front fender to.
Also credit to the f-150 that my blue and grey projectile slammed into, the 1:1 truck was not even scratched.

This is my first really great quality rc, and I’m absolutely blown away how great it looks and how well it drives. There is some torque steer but other than that it’s so much fun. Richard Schwenk Verified Owner Friday, Sep 15 2023 (about 2 years ago) Losi Baja Rey 2.0 Ford F-150 Raptor 1/10 RTR 4WD Brushless Desert Truck (Method) I really like the upgrades they made to this versipn. The differential s seem to be lasting better than other versions. The front left tire also does not seem to be wearing out (my other 5 other version Baja reys would wear out). I drive only on street and truck runs great and straight. View all reviews
