I started a return process to get the gear replaced and in the same day aMain contact Ed me and told me they’re sending a replacement without me even having to send back the broken one.
Completely satisfied with aMain and their service department!
Hopefully the spur I go was just a bad one and this will work fine.
I honestly don’t see Iris s or Ruddog keeping this gear on the market if it was a known issue.
Thanks aMain! Rich S, Thursday, Apr 11 2024 (about a year ago) IRIS Machined 64P Spur Gear (100T) Spur is soft and striped the teeth off when I tried to run MOD Touring Car with a 5T motor in an IRIS ONE. Seems like this is the only spur that will fit the IRIS ONE. None of other spurs I tied fit.
Looks like a Revolution Design 48p Ultra Spur might fit hope its not as soft as this spur was. 1 of 2 customers found this review helpful. View all reviews
