Gabriel B Tuesday, May 7 2024 (about a year ago) Hobbywing QuicRun 10BL120 G2 Sensorless Brushless ESC/3652SL I purchased this ESC/motor combo for my TT-02 (26t pinion, slightly higher timing) and it’s been great!
(One thing to beware of is that there is a very similar version of this motor, the 3150kv, which has a 5mm shaft, thus will not fit the TT02’s Mod 0.6 pinion.)
Anyways, back to the review of the 3250KV (3mm shaft). The motor itself is quite small and compact! Probably about 90% of the mass of the original motor (which is 540-sized).
It has so much power, it will strip the stock bevel gears (which attach to the propeller shaft quite loosely) in about 5 seconds. I then upgraded to metal gears from eBay, and it’s flawless and quite fast. It is so programmable (even with the old program card I’ve had for years now) You can change timing; BEC; LiPo cells; Punch, etc.
It stays decently cool when geared correctly, and is nice and quiet. Cogging is minimal for a sensorless.
I would definitely recommend this motor, especially at the steal price of only about $85! 1 customer found this review helpful. Andrew Kain Verified Owner Saturday, Sep 13 2025 (2 weeks ago) Hobbywing QuicRun 10BL120 G2 Sensorless Brushless ESC/3652SL I installed in my mini xrt and absolutely love this system. Pack after pack 2s and 3s with not one thermal shutdown. The punch of the 3250 is enough for back flips and lengthy air. Perfect for my mini truggy. View all reviews
