Note: The GYD470 has been designed for use with Futaba Transmitters, receivers and servos. GYD470 may not work properly with other non-Futaba combinations.

Carl Dee Saturday, Mar 11 2023 (about 2 years ago) Futaba GYD470 1/10 Electric Drift Car Gyro I am running the GYD470 in a Redcat RDS with a Futaba 7PXR transmitter, R334SBS-E receiver, and a AFGRC A50BHL servo. Once the transmitter and receivers were fully updated, the gyro is working great! Running it on s.bus using the rotary dial on the radio to control channel 3, the gyro gain is easily adjusted and noticeable. With some servo tuning, I can get quick and solid hold with the gyro with little to no wandering and twitching. I do wish that Futaba was more clear on what specifics are needed to get this gyro to work, but once it’s setup, it works great. 3 customers found this review helpful. Christian Fuller Verified Owner Friday, Mar 3 2023 (about 2 years ago) Futaba GYD470 1/10 Electric Drift Car Gyro From my understanding, this gyro will not function with lower-end transmitters. It is very specific about your transmitter protocol. I have this gyro paired with the ReveD RS-ST and I do not get any steering from my transmitter (Radiolink RC4GS). Steering works just fine with the servo plugged directly into the receiver. Very disappointed with this product, I would stay away from it unless you run a futaba transmitter.
