Dondom David Tuesday, Nov 22 2022 (about 2 years ago) Furitek SCX24 Chameleon Brushed Motor w/Motor Mount & Pinion (80T) Powered by an Iguana pro. It is slow, not very powerful, noisy. Noisy going forward, a little quieter in reverse. Brass pinion had some thread lock between the gear teeth causing noise every revolution, had to scrape them off. I dont think this is 80T since its slow af. Carbon fiber motor plate is pretty nice. The HobbyPlus CR-18 (HBP240118) motor performs better than this. 1 customer found this review helpful. And it’s still going strong after almost a year. Running SD aluminum wheels with RC4WD Thornbirds tires in the C10. Full disclosure, I installed my motor with a flipped transfer case (motor forward). And I had to flatten and grind away some of the stock frame rail for it to run parallel to the input shaft on the transfer case. Also reversed motor leads. And made a longer front drive shaft and shorter rear drive shaft using stock spare parts. Climbs fantastic, yes, a bit noisy. And admittedly it was a pain to get it all set up properly. But it has outlasted the stock motor 50x. Lots of power not fast but fast enough for what I need.
