EcoPower WP250T High Torque Waterproof Brushless Servo
EcoPower WP250T Brushless Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo was developed specifically for crawlers, bashers and RTR applications. Heavy 2.2 class rigs, U4 racers, lightweight and heavyweight 1.9 comp builds and ultra-detailed scalers can all benefit from the feature set that the WP250T delivers. Pushing over 681 oz-in of stump-pulling torque and .12 speed at 7.4V, the WP250T will move heavy 2.2 tires with ease, no matter how much weight you put in them.
All this power means nothing without durability. By combining this incredible power with a specialized gasket system, the WP250T is waterproof up to 1-meter and will stand up to anything mother nature can throw at it. A full steel gear train, 25T output shaft and full aluminum machined heat sink case make the WP250T extremely tough. The WP250T delivers the excessive power that crawlers demand – with durability and reliability that make it a must have servo for crawlers that expect the most from their rigs.

Gabriel B Sunday, Nov 26 2023 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP250T Waterproof MEGA Torque Metal Gear/Metal Case Servo What an amazing servo! I’m running it in my 11lb TRX-4. It whips the wheels around regardless of the weight on them (and this is at 6v!) It’s about as fast as you can get with this much torque, and because of that it twitches a bit if you move the wheels slowly.
You have be careful with it on big rocks, because it will shred your steering gear if it’s not durable. I don’t know why they include a plastic servo horn with it, but it does come with a few horns.
The steering radius is very good. I had to set my endpoints down a good bit to prevent strain on the steering.
Update
I have had this servo now for over 4 months now, and I recently upgraded my BEC to 7.4v (which made a huge difference in speed and power that’s very impressive) and it’s going strong even through mud, water, the BEC upgrade, and some seriously hard crashes.

I’ve had this servo now for over 10 months now. It’s still running strong, although it does twitch back and forth when the wheels are off the ground (must be a little bit of internal gear play). I have this in a Traxxas Sledge after my stock servo kept getting slower and weaker (yes I know it was subpar even when it was new). Even with 10mm wheel spacers and larger than stock belted tires this servo redefines “break-neck” handling and this is running it at 6v on the stock receiver. Incredibly strong and fast! Big kudos to the AMain tech team as I called for a recommendation and this was the unit they pointed me to. The stock RTR servo was fine but slow and at the limit of the weight of the vehicle. The WP250T is touring car-level fast and super powerful. I can fully lean on the front tires on a descent without worrying if the servo can handle it. The only downside I can think of is that the servo may be a bit TOO fast and feels a bit twitchy, which can be solved with some steering expo dialed in. 2 customers found this review helpful. I have had them both for over two years. one finally gave up But I really push them very hard. I can say they really have held up under heavy abuse! I also got a reefs raw 500 around same time. Reefs is a bit faster in turning speed and that’s about it. The 250 has more torque though. A lot of friends say to go with Shifts; But for the price and availability, I got another WP250T and the EcoPower 832 Mid Profile to try. it is hard to gauge servo life span and how long it should last.. For as much abuse I have put them through and cost; I have been very happy with them!
