Charles Oclassen Verified Owner Sunday, Mar 19 2023 (about 2 years ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo I think this is a great servo! Really fast on my TT02 and seems to compete with servos that are a lot more expensive. I’ve never had an issue with these and I have three of them now. This is my go-to for touring. Seems to respond faster than many of my other servos, and move as fast as advertised. 4 customers found this review helpful. Jerry Sullivan Verified Owner Friday, Oct 7 2022 (about 2 years ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo This is a great little servo with plenty of power for shift, dig applications. 4 customers found this review helpful. Billy Shaw Verified Owner Friday, Dec 1 2023 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Great servo for the price. The big positive for me is that mine did fail after about 5mo of use. But the warranty process was fast and easy. Can not ask for more. 2 customers found this review helpful. Christian Andersen Verified Owner Friday, Mar 14 2025 (7 months ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Great bang for the buck. It had good torque for 4wd TC, its fast enough, small enough and light enough without spending $100. 1 customer found this review helpful. Noah Blum Saturday, Jan 18 2025 (8 months ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Pleasantly surprised by this servo on my carpet AE b6.4. I was just starting out and didn’t want to drop $130+ just yet. It’s got about 6 months of racing with it every week… If your looking for a cost effective servo for a buggy or on road, I wouldn’t hesitate on the eco power 115T. 5 stars, especially considering the low cost. 1 customer found this review helpful. louis hroncich Verified Owner Saturday, Aug 31 2024 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Works well. Priced right also. No sense is spending more when this is so good@ 1 customer found this review helpful. Brian McGinnett Verified Owner Saturday, Jun 15 2024 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo These are hanging in there like the big dogs. I have used Savox for years but i have zero complaints here. I have 3 of these now, 1 in a late model, one sprint car and the last one is in a F1 car 1 customer found this review helpful. Errol LapLante Verified Owner Friday, Apr 19 2024 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Surprisingly this is a great servo for the price. I’m running them in the majority of my cars. I have savox and protek in a few but I actually prefer the eco power. Over a year on some so for the money I’m impressed!! 1 customer found this review helpful. Derick Fahnestock Verified Owner Monday, Sep 8 2025 (3 weeks ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Excellent servo for the price. I’m using two currently in my 2wd buggies and they work really well. The centering is just a tad off but nothing too noticeable on the track. They provide plenty of torque and are plenty fast for bashing and racing applications. Ryan Warfield Verified Owner Friday, Jul 4 2025 (3 months ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Sadly these things go south quick. Thought it was just because my son was racing for the 1st time but only week after when we cleaned the cars up for the next event that i noticed him practicing and the car’s trim was off. Or so i thought… Turns out the car flat refuses to return to center. Different radio/rx, servo savers, linkage checks etc. all behaved the same way til i put in an ancient standard servo that is about as old him he and it was resolved. Slow but resolved. Bought 2 of these for both my sons and the youngest’ does it too just not as bad (but he doesn’t run his car as much nor race). Frustrating. Now on the hunt for something as good as old S9551 without making their mother (the sponsor) more angry with expenses. Daniel Burns Verified Owner Thursday, Apr 18 2024 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Burnt up in a few days of use I had some before they were great I don’t know if they’re was a bad batch or something. henry losada Verified Owner Thursday, Apr 18 2024 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo running this on a nitro 4 tec 3.3 and the response is amazing and the torque is there when it comes to getting those front wheels to point in the direction i want it to go Christopher Holmes Verified Owner Thursday, Apr 18 2024 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Installed in my DR10M drag car works very well fast and efficient. Matt Bergstresser Verified Owner Saturday, Apr 13 2024 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Had these installed for dig and OD. After a short period 5-10 minutes they both got super hot causing the receiver to lose connection and apply throttle at random. Unhooked them both and truck started driving as normal. Toby Oliver Verified Owner Friday, Jun 30 2023 (about 2 years ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo I purchased 4 of these for a couple of Vanquish Phoenix builds for the overdrive and DIG operations.
When trying Vanquish, Reefs and other name brand servo horns; all of them rub on the servo case when tightened down which adds a lot of friction and effort to move the horn. I didn’t notice this when I initially built my first Phoenix. There is usually a fraction of a millimeter worth of clearance so the servo horn doesn’t rub on the servo case and things operate smoothly.
I’ve had 2 out of the 4 servos I purchased in service for probably 2 hours worth of run time. I’m just now using the other 2 servos on my 2nd Phoenix and 1 has let out smoke after less than 2 minutes of runtime even though the servo EPAs had been set.
I understand manufacturing defects and even improper installation happen but the fact that a number of high quality, name brand servo horns rub on the case is ridiculous. That should be a no-brainer part of the design. These same servo horns fit other servos from Protec, Holmes Hobbies, NSDRC, etc. just fine. 1 of 2 customers found this review helpful. Omar Quinones Verified Owner Thursday, Mar 16 2023 (about 2 years ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Purchased 2 of them for my Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix. Installed the Servo for OD. Ensured I had the trim and EXP set to the proper throw. Not even 2 minutes into testing the Servo is hot. I let it cool. Tired again and nothing. Tried the Servo out on a Servo tester…. Nothing. Tried the second Servo and the same outcome. Finally tried a take out Servo from an RTR and it’s still working. Joseba Izaguirre Verified Owner Sunday, Feb 12 2023 (about 2 years ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo it would not steer right and then I put it in my boat and it did nothing would not work not worth 45$ Joshua Nelson Verified Owner Sunday, Feb 4 2024 (about a year ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Esc and transmitter wouldn’t respond when this servo was plugged in. Servo was hot when I picked it up. Doesn’t work at all… 0 of 1 customers found this review helpful. Tylor McMillan Saturday, Sep 2 2023 (about 2 years ago) EcoPower WP115T Low Profile Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear Servo Junk. Two out of three I have purchased smoked themselves before the End Points were even programmed. I disassembled them both to find the internal wire’s conveniently pinched between the onboard chip and aluminum section of the case. Once it heats up it melts the wire and shorts the servo. I thought it was just a manufacturing defect at first until the second cooked servo had the wiring routed in the same fashion. Shameless cash grab is what this looks like now. Don’t waste your time or money. I don’t even trust the third one I have, it will be coming out immediately before it shorts out something more expensive. 1 of 3 customers found this review helpful.
