Description
Tamiya Monster Beetle 2015 2WD Monster Truck Kit. This re-release version of the Monster Beetle assembly kit features a number of updates while keeping the basic layout of the original off-road car released in 1986. It features a realistic customized Beetle body depicted in tough polystyrene resin, with metal-plated parts supplied in the kit to add the finishing touch for handles and headlight frames. A resin driver figure is included to finish off the look. This specific model includes a Hobbywing THW-1060 Brushed ESC for extreme performance.
Tough Space Frame Chassis
This model’s rear-wheel drive chassis is based around a durable ABS space frame to withstand all-action off-road driving. Oil dampers support the double wishbone front and trailing arm rear setups. These features give this chassis extreme handling and performance.

Pep it up with a Torque tuned motor and this is a perfect first RC for building and jumping. Greg Verified Owner Monday, Aug 25 2025 (5 weeks ago) Tamiya Monster Beetle 2015 2WD Monster Truck Kit 2015 monster beetle update, needs a few more standard updates. 1st the wires from the motor to esc were to short. 2nd the on/switch, does not mount into the plate supplied, tiny switch. Overall the build was fun. Just be ready to solder in wire extensions to motor, and get creative to mount on/off switch.
