Description
This is the Tamiya 1/10 Electric Blitzer Beetle 2011 Off-Road Kit, a 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit of the Blitzer Beetle, which was inspired by the exciting off-road desert racer designs seen in the United States. This chassis is equipped with 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, CVA shock units, and high-grip off-road tires to offer superb driving performance on rough terrain. The injection-molded body features metal-plated light covers and side mirror parts for greater realism.
2WD Off-Road Chassis This tough, lightweight ABS bathtub chassis features a rear-mounted motor, rear-wheel drive layout. Fully-enclosed gearbox protects against dirt and debris and is equipped with differential gears to offer smooth cornering. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension is equipped with C.V.A. shock units and extremely durable monocoque-type lower arms. The front spiked tires feature three ribs for enhanced stability while the rear tires feature both spikes and an X-shaped tread pattern along the center to ensure high levels of grip.

Timmy Klatte Saturday, Mar 30 2024 (about a year ago) Tamiya 1/10 Blitzer Beetle 2011 Off Road Buggy Kit Great kit for a custom build if that’s your thing. I’ve seen lots of different color schemes-and the box art is cool too. The Torque Tuned 540 will get it going fairly well-but you will eventually upgrade. The DT02 chassis is pretty good for all-around bashing and quite durable. I found the stock rear tires to be somewhat lacking in dirt traction-but okay for pavement. If you replace the rear tires, it transforms the little car. It will hold up to a brushless set up-but I prefer the old school brushed motors with NIMH 7.2v batteries. Mine now has a 15t Dynamite motor with a Hobbywing 1060 and it flies!!! 2 customers found this review helpful. View all reviews
