Description
The Sanwa/Airtronics RX-493i 2.4GHz FHSS-5 4-Channel Telemetry Receiver is a FH5 and SUR response mode compatible receiver that features a short coaxial antenna with an integrated antenna tube mount, ensuring stable performance in about any situation compared to built-in antenna receiver units. Furthermore the high-voltage compatible receiver is waterproof. The receiver measures 26×23.2x14mm, it weighs in at 6.2g and is designed to work with the Sanwa M17 or MT-5 radio system.

I have mine for over a year now in my 1/8th buggy and truggy. they are compact and fit about anywhere. I actually broke a case on one of them due to the case coming off the double sided tape and bouncing around. Buying a replacement case was really easy and cheap. I even saw a recommended (from Serpent america rep for SANWA) Detailed video on binding the RX-493i .the Reciever never turned on .no blue flash ,,, nothing . I have been back and forth with SERPENT (SANWA distributor i guess) i keep telling them It wint work they keep telling me to try this or that. Im sending it to them to REPLACE OR REFUND my $107 to get another 1 or for them to replace with w WORKING RX-493I..This is the VERY 1st time I ever gave anything a “1 ? ” on Amain . I appreciate the help and info that the A main reps gave me to reach SERPENT to sort this out. Though i think where where ever we buy something they should have us send it back and be replaced with a new one and they handle the “dud” with the co.pany they deal with. I don’t like that should have replaced it and me sending it back to amain and they sent it to them and sent me one for replacement.but everything thing else is good .
