Description
The Belt Object Survey Ship (B.O.S.S) was designed over 40 years ago, in a time where nuclear propulsion and solar power were the latest in space flight innovations. Bill Simon created designed this one-of-a-kind rocket in partnership with Estes. This long-awaited prototype is being released for the first time. Experience innovation from days past with Estes Newest addition to our Signature Series.The B.O.S.S. Rocket uses a rare asymmetrical structure with one tail fin, two engine pod assemblies, and a large circular plate to stabilize the rocket. We’ve matched the artistry of this design with high-quality components to bring you the latest in the Estes Designer Series.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, yellow glue, hobby knife, masking tape, primer (white), paint (black and white), wax paper, fine sandpaper and sanding block. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Porta-Pad E Launch Pad and E Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
