Rockhounds Crawler Club Verified Owner Saturday, Mar 16 2024 (about a year ago) Samix Aluminum Front Shock Plates for Traxxas TRX-4M (Black) (2) I’ve been very happy with all the Samix aftermarket parts I’ve purchased. The front shock plate set does not disappoint either. This replaces the front shock mount on the TRX-4M. My Intent was to gain some extra tire clearance as with a slightly taller aftermarket tire the fenders on the stock bronco body will rub. This front shock mount does just the trick, I was able to gain about 4-5mm of extra wheel clearance by changing the mounting position of the shock. My only complaint with the shock plate is that it dose add a bit of weight up high. Going with a carbon chassis is probably better for comp style rigs but as I didn’t feel like rebuilding the entire truck the shock plate fits bill. I will mention that it does work with the stock Traxxas body with no modifications. So for a budget build this is perfect. View all reviews
